District Shooting Competition 2016

This year’s Northern Norwich District Shooting competition was held at the 2nd Hellesdon Scout HQ on Saturday 16th April 2016 with 16 teams taking part. This year’s event saw the introduction of two new disciplines so that the competition now mirrors the County Event.

The winning team, in a close competition, were the 44th Norwich who were only 6 points ahead of the runners up.

An opportunity to take part in the County Shooting competition in September lie ahead for the top scouts.

This event would not be possible without the assistance of the qualified Instructors who support the delivery of the disciplines and the admin team who scored the shooting and pulled together all the scores. I am grateful to the whole team for giving up their time to enable the scouts to have a great day.
