2nd Hellesdon Group visit Duxford

On Saturday 9th March 2nd Hellesdon Scout Group visited Duxford imperial war museum.

15 Beavers, 13 Cubs, 9 Scouts and 10 Adults all enjoyed exploring the 8 hangers, discovering about everything from WW1 to 9/11. The museum includes airplanes, tanks, boats, trucks and much, much more.

They used the interactive zone to find out if they were skilled enough to be pilots by flying an aircraft simulator and spelt out their names in Morse code.

The Beavers completed their Air Activities 1 Badge although the Cubs and Scouts have a few more small tasks to complete theirs.

A great day had by all and the weather was kind to us.
