Please find attached a role description for the Explorer Scout Leader – Young Leader.

Our aim is for a Young Leader Manager to be appointed and alongside this volunteer, gather a team of existing Leaders who are interested in playing an active role in the delivery of the Young Leader Modules and support the Manager (and Section Leader at the Groups) in meeting the needs of the Young Leaders in the Unit and working with our Section Leaders. 

I also hope that we will be able to arrange some administration support for the YL Manager to ensure that the Young Leaders we have in the District are kept fully informed about what is available to them through the Scheme and kept up to date regarding the upcoming training opportunities etc. This communication is key to ensure the YLs continue to feel valued and supported.
