Northern Norwich St George’s Day – 2020

A different celebration this year remembering our Patron Saint of Scouting today with the current challenges we all face.

A day when Scouts have traditionally come together and renew their Promises in person we adapt and innovate to renew our Promise by different means.

Whether you will Join In, Tune In, or Just Stop or be part of an online Section meeting renewing your Promise today we can all mark St. George’s Day knowing that Scouts far and wide will be doing the same. We will be together.

Unable to present our Flag of St. George this year, Awards of Achievement have been ‘presented’ in our District celebrating growing our movement in both adult and youth membership, provision of opportunities for our young people to learn, achieve at the highest level and experience Scouting to the full.

Congratulations to members of the 11th Norwich Sea Scout Group, those at the 44th Norwich (1st Old Catton) Scout Group and the District Explorer Section on receiving an Award this year.

I look forward to joining you later today when we renew our Scouting Promise.

Take care everyone, keep safe.

Lisa.
