The Explorers enjoyed their traditional Winter Camp at Roughton in January.
At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great Way, Scout Groups around the district met at local churches for a Remembrance Service. Many had specially made poppies to mark the centenary of the Armistice and to remember those who laid down their lives.
3rd & 4th Cub Scouts had a great two hour scuba diving session at Christal Seas in Norwich recently. 21 Scours and 3 leaders enjoyed the annual Vicious Vikings day on October 13th. The activities comprised of five bases: Fire Lighting; Axe and Saw; Cooking Twists; Shelter Building; Cooking Toad in the Hole and Camp Doughnuts.
Scouts from across the district pitted their archery and axe throwing skills against each other at this year’s competition.
This weekend saw Beavers from across our District come together to enjoy a Jamboree, a night away under the stars in the great outdoors! Thanks of course to our wonderful team who made it all possible.
Yes – it’s that time again! Thank you to the fantastic team of volunteers in our District who made WAM 2018 a fabulous weekend enjoyed by young and not so young alike – activity packed and full of opportunities for our young people.
